NEWSLETTER SIX - 19th May 08

Hello everyone,

After our recent 12:box launch we are back to our usual and relaxed craftshapes newsletter. A big thanks to everyone who took advantage of our box offer. We had great fun doing it and showing off the completed box projects.

We visited the fantastic Cheshire show yesterday. The rain stayed away just long enough, we had a great day. We visited the large crafts tent, there were lots of great crafters showing, woodwork, textiles, painters and so on.

But I have to say that at least half were simply selling pre-made items. I'm not against it, not at all, it's just a shame that there aren't more stalls of crafters selling handmade items that they made themselves. A sign of the times with lots of craft fairs these days...

Did you show at Cheshire? How did you get on? How are you finding it at other craft fairs? Let us know at our craftsblog.

NEW SHAPES ADDED: Wooden blocks??
We don't have any new shapes this time round but have some new shapes on the way very soon. In the meantime I wanted to ask you about wooden blocks? We are thinking of introducing them and I wanted to know if they would be a wooden shape that you would want? We can supply them from tiddlers up to about 2-1/2" in size. Please do let us know on the blog at www.craftsblog.co.uk

OUR GALLERY
Our continued thanks to all of you who have sent in your fantastic craft projects for us to include in our gallery. It always amazes us to see what creative projects you make with our shapes. If you haven't sent in your projects yet please do, we love to see them. We will include a link to your website too, if you have one (this can help drive traffic to your site and increase your sales, if that's your goal!).

CUSTOMER SHOWCASE
Just as we like to show off your craft projects through our gallery section we also want to showcase some of our customers in a little more depth here within our newsletter. If you create crafts from our shapes and have a shops, or sell on ebay, or even just make gifts for friends we would love to hear from you and include your showcase in an upcoming newsletter. We want to help promote you to our little craftshapes family. The internet is a fantastic way for us all to share our ideas and projects and we would like to help by showing off your projects here in our newsletters. If you would like to be considered for our customer showcase please do contact us at info@craftshapes.co.uk.
