HOW OUR DISCOUNTS WORK
Well they work like this. We thought long and hard how to structure our prices in order to give the best discounts. The solution we chose was simple. Once you've spent £20 the discounts start kicking in with 2% off your whole basket (any items!!). That's it, easy peasy lemon squeezy!
So each item in our shop has a table included on its details page. This gives the price of the item according to the value of your basket.
Here's the table:
2% off whole order
5% off whole order
7% off whole order
10% off whole order
So, for example if your total order value was £54 you would get 5% discount off your order and so on...
The discounts you receive are shown in your basket so you know exactly how much money you are saving.
HOW TO BUY STUFF
Making a purchase is so simple your toddler could show you how to do it!! It's very simple. Just go to our home page, browse through lovely photos of craft shapes, choose the shape you want to look at, then click on the image to go to that section. Click on any items that you wish to view more details and then put them into the your shopping basket to purchase. You can then modify the order quantities. Once each item is added to your basket your p&p charge is calculated. You can choose to continue shopping or go to the checkout by clicking the respective buttons.
Once you have completed your shopping click on the checkout button, this will take you to our payment service where you can enter your payment details that we need to complete your order. We accept credit and debit card payment plus Paypal and Personal Cheque. After entering your payment details choose your method of payment and follow the online instructions.
Our online transactions are processsed by Paypal on their secure servers. We do not take your credit card details at any point. This provides a high level of security, keeping your details safe.
CRAFT SHAPE DIMENSIONS AND STYLES
Our craft shapes are made to a very high standard and quality checked before shipping. Slight variances in shape, size and colouring may occur both between batches of shapes and within batches. All measurements are approximate and may vary slightly within a tolerance of +/- 10%. We reserve the right to change measurements and descriptions of items at any time.
POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
The complete postage and packaging cost is shown for your order in your basket. To see the postage cost for your order, select the destination from the pull down menu and the postage cost is then shown for that destination.
Postage costs shown in your basket includes VAT. VAT on postage is charged at UK standard rate.
We love to ship our items worldwide. We use UK Royal Mail (Parcelforce) or courier shipping for our international orders. Your basket total will show shipping for the the region/country you have chosen. For European order the postage is averaged out to allow us to provide a simple pricing structure. In some occasions we may email to ask for extra postage payment or we may refund excess postage payment. 99% of the time however the "averaged" postage cost applies.
PACKING MATERIALS POLICY
We try to use as much recycled and reclaimed material as we can, especially large cardboard packaging. Therefore larger postal packages may be delivered in re-used cardboard boxes and material. This may not look quite as slick as a tailor made box but we feel that it is a much preffered method. It is hugely beneficial to the environment to reduce the amount of new packaging that is generated plus as we can often obtain 'once-used' packaging cheaply we can pass on a lower delivery cost to you. We also encourage you to re-use all our packaging yourself. You will be helping the environment and saving money, which has always got to be a good thing!
We keep things as simple as so that we can fulfil your order as quickly as possible. We pack and ship parcels in the order they come in. All orders are printed off each day and we pick and pack them sequentially.
We aim to process orders within 2-5 working days, plus 1-3 days postage time.
When we are very busy, especially in September, October, and November, orders may take a little longer, anything from 3-10 working days.
For 2nd class Royal mail please allow 2-3 working days after dispatch, for 1st class allow 1-2 working days, for courier please allow 1-3 working days.
If a parcel has not arrived after 10 working days please feel free to chase it up with us. In most cases we will post a replacement for any parcel that is considered lost.
If an item is out of stock it will be usually be displayed as such in the shop area. Sometimes we will allow purchases of out of stock items that are due back in stock within a couple of days.
On occasion we may refund for an out of stock item and post the remainder of the order or substitute an out of stock item for a similar item if we consider it suitable.
Where an item has been made to order please allow upto 14 working days.
Order processing times for larger orders may increase during busy periods and can be 7-10 working days.
VAT is charged at the standard current UK rate. We provide a full VAT receipt with each purchase. The prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT. The full VAT breakdown is shown in your basket and at checkout.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
We use Paypal for taking credit card orders. When you purchase from our shop you are connected to thier secure servers. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to thiers using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Once your information reaches Paypal, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Paypal servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorised computers.
Your satisfaction is very important to us. All our items are produced to a very high standard. If however you are not satisfied that your item is in working order or has a manufacturing fault we will provide a full 30-day no quibble guarantee. Simply return the item explaining the fault and we will replace or refund as requested.
We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, for any reason, simply return the item to us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Please note that the item must be in its original condition. You can return your item by post. I am sorry that we cannot refund postage costs unless your item is faulty under the terms of our quality guarantee.
We will also accept returns of items under our returns policy beyond 14 days, however a 25% surchage is applied.
We will never ever transfer any of your details to another company or marketing organisation. We value your interest and support of our business. Providing craft and country items that you will enjoy and wish to have in your home is our goal. We want you to purchase items that you are very happy with, we want you to come back to us and to tell your friends about us.
Protecting your privacy is paramount to acheiving that. We keep your contact details only on our system (we never hold your credit card details) so that we can keep in touch with you, and inform you of items and offers that you may enjoy. For those who choose to subscribe, we send out a periodic newsletter, which can be unsubscibed from at any time. Just so you are absolutely confident, we will never ever, ever transfer any of your details to another company or marketing organisation.
WEBSITE GALLERY IMAGES POLICY
We love to receive images of your completed crafts for our website gallery. Images sent directly to us then added by ourselves to the gallery, and images uploaded by customers remain the property and copyright of the creator. By uploading the image to the gallery the owner of the image gives permission to Craftshapes to use the image on the website and for other promotional, instructural, tutorial and illustrative purposes. Any request to cease use of an image by the creator/owner will be honoured by Craftshapes and implemented through an appropriate and agreed timescale that does not cause damage or interruption to any ongoing campaign or other useage.
